The Enterprise Systems and Services (ESS) Division is the university business unit responsible for the design, implementation, operation, maintenance and evolution of central Information Technology (IT) facilities supporting the university community.

Enterprise Middleware Services & Database Administration
The university business unit responsible for enterprise middleware solutions including the development, implementation, and support for the enterprise identity and access management services, directory services, enterprise portal, and network services applications. This unit is also responsible for the database administration for the university's central enterprise systems.

Enterprise Application Services, Student Services
The university business unit responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of the central student services applications supporting the university community.

Enterprise Systems and Infrastructure
The university business unit responsible for designing and implementing additions and changes to ESS infrastructure and security supporting the central business services of the university. This includes core database servers (Oracle and MS SQL Server), web/application server farms, SAN's, firewalls, load balancers, backups and disaster recovery.

Enterprise Mainframe and Data Center Operations
The university business unit responsible for the operation and maintenance of the IBM Mainframe processor supporting the central student and business services at the university, as well as the daily operational requirements for transaction processing and reporting. This unit is also responsible for the physical infrastructure of the Administrative Data Center, including electrical, HVAC, floor space and security.
